Youtube and Twitch Streaming

Hey there! So, with streamlining a lot of problems and general work of streaming, thumbnails, and improving my setup. One of the things I wanted to do was multi-streaming. with it being one of the best ways for beginner streamers to help reach new people on the journey of content creation. Now there's two problems here that I'm faced with.. My internet provider hates me streaming.. Really I don't know what it is because no one on planet earth has ever had this problem. I've scrolled down tons of forum posts of people having dropped frame issues with obs streaming. Every has just said, it's your internet lol get better internet.. I HAVE 400mbps UP, which should be plenty for streaming some of the greatest quality, this side of the world. But now let's talk about the problem.. Whenever I stream, I drop 90% of frames. but only when I stream over 4-5mbps which is horrible. I used to stream 60fps 42mbps on YouTube back in 2024 but for some reason I'm having problems now. So to fix this I'm forced to stream at really bad qualites which I don't mind because I upload the streams anyways so I still have a hq upload on hand. But it begs the question if a viewer would look past the horrible visuals... Really idk, I've found a way to multi-stream for free so I'm going to try it out here soon! If I drop all my frames, I'm forced to only stream to YouTube but if the option works, I would love to stream to both Youtube and Twitch ♥

The Restart of Streaming

Hello! I'm back to say a very minor amount of information. Of that is I'm streaming again! I've fought through my extreme anxiety to finally start streaming again and it's been fun so far! The only viewers I get is one of my friends from when I first streamed in 2024 and my girl friend! But I'm extremely thankful to have those appearing in my chat, streaming to no-one is one of the worst feelings of all time. Within' streaming again I've also re-mixed my entire audio setup and a few minor things. That's all I have to say for now, thank you!

OVERHAUL

I'm experiencing a pretty bad depressive episode, I won't get into any of it really. But having time to think about a lot of stuff, one of the things I'm pushing is an overhaul to the website. Initially I liked the idea of having one webpage for use of a music player but the gimmick is losing it's value. I enjoyed it, but I'm going to overhaul the entire website by sorting catagories into seperate html's and so on. So enjoy that!

Heart & Soul

As it is pretty obvious at the current moment, the website is lacking personality.. At least in my opinion. My Idea which I think is probably well understood with website creation(?) is to start with creating the heart of the website, getting everything is a good layout. Generally just working out the framework of the site and then moving onto the soul. The soul I will most likely struggle with but I need to turn the site into my website! With all kinds of things that I love and express myself as a personality! I'm slowly working day by day on this website, I loved it at the start but a lot of flaws are starting to show..

Website Overhaul

May 26th. 2025

Re-worked a lot of the original layout stylesheet to not have any scaling as to help with viewing on lower-res monitors and vertical resolutions since I don't have the technical knowledge to make a mobile friendly site.
Other than that.. still working on fleshing the site out!!
Next time I overhaul the stylesheet it will to be making the website better for 720p resolutions!!, at the moment for any resolution that isn't 1080p.

Random Thoughts

May 25th. 2025

Updates on the blog will slow down a lot once I'm done getting the website to a point that I like.
I'm working on all the sub-catagories currently, then I'm going to flesh them out, and go from there
Other than site wide stuff I have not been doing anything other than workshopping the website
Yesterday I helped my brother move into his new place and I'm extremely sore today, I could hardly type lol
As for today I've felt extremely depressed, I don't know why exactly, I cannot pin point what may be the cause but I'm just not the happiest mood right now.
I'm planning on taking a week off of all social medias to spend the time reflecting on how I want to approach the next month, my plans, and my priorities on all of them
I want to start streaming on Youtube & Twitch again but I've been feeling super anxious and depressed, I'm trying to wait on two things before I start, one being my own mental health and the other is a commission I'm waiting on that will help with Youtube Thumbnails
That's how my day have been so far but I've also found an artist(non furry) that I want to commission called Kiunlo. I wanna see what they can do ♥

Current Thoughts On The Website

I've added some small additions which I like, but holy shit this website it held together with hopes and dreams lmao
I intend on fixing my bootleg layouts later on when or if I get a better understanding of what I'm doing
Doing some small stupid stuff like setting up a small box for the music player to start in works for now
At some point I would love to modify the site to be way better for non 1080p monitors, but at the moment it's good

I've opted in to making my website one page, instead of multiple other HTML's for the reason of the music player
I really loved the idea of having a custom playlist on my site but if I wanted to have it, it would only run on one page
But having one large site instead of many small ones look better anyways x3

ADV OBS Setup for Rec/Streaming (wip)

Starting out download OBS

After Installing chose either opt for Rec or Streaming

How I like to use OBS is without setting up audio in or outs. I prefer to setup "Audio Input/Output Capture" on the source itself because I use 4 Virtual Cable Drivers each for differnt stuff.

Cable A = Discord/Any Voice Chat

Cable B = Music Player

Cable C = Web Browser

Cable 0 = Game/Main Driver

Seperating all the audio into different channels help keep a nice balanced mix, but leveling out everything to be a good volume!

For "Output/Output Mode" choose "Advanced" and for Type choose "Custom Output (FFMPEG)"

The Reason I choose to use FFmpeg output is so I can get lossless audio output for editing! OBS usually outputs ac3 by default which is pretty bad.. And then after editing and uploading to YouTube it's going to be encoded again and just get worse and worse..

Use whatever settings you prefer if you know what you're doing but the settings I use are:

Container Format: matroska

Video Encoder: h264_nvenc

Video Bitrate: 35000kbps

Audio Encoder: Flac

Audio Bitrate: 2000kbps

Audio Track: 1 2 3 4 5 & 6 Selected

Anything can be adjusted for anyone's purposes. I like to record at such high bitrates so I have a super high quality recording for editing and then I use my ffmpeg compression to store it!

now, under the Audio tab under Output, rename all of these to what you're using or want to use! for instance:

Track 1: Microphone

Track 2: Game Audio

Track 3: Voice Chat

Track 4: Music Player

Track 5: Browser

Track 6: Stream Out

Though this step is unnecessary, it's really helpful for keeping track of what you're doing and staying organized!
